Contamination Recall: Kania Salt & Pepper Mills

Kania Salt & Peppercorn Mills
Lidl's are recalling their Kania Salt & Peppercorn Ceramic Grinders because they may contain small pieces of glass, causing a serious safety risk.
What happens when you swallow glass?
Small pieces of glass (or anything else that is sharp, such as small pieces of metal) can do damage to the mouth, oesophagus, stomach and the rest of the digestive tract. Not only can the glass do direct damage, the cuts it can cause could then go infected, and more damage would be done if the glass were to get stuck.
