Fromagerie Alpine is recalling Saint Félicien and Saint Marcellin raw cow’s milk cheeses, because they might contain E. coli.

E. coli
E. Coli stands for Escherichia coli, which is a group of bacteria causing illness in humans. Escherichia coli naturally live in the large intestines of humans, mammals and birds. Our intestines need many bacteria to function normally, including some strains of Escherichia coli. However, some strains of E. coli produce poisons (toxins), which causes illnesses ranging from mild diarrhoea through to very severe inflammation of the gut.
In severe cares, E. coli can lead to death...
