Contamination Recall:
Greggs Mini Sausage Rolls (frozen)

Greggs Mini Sausage Rolls (frozen)
Greggs are recalling their 16 pack of frozen Mini Sausage Rolls, because they may contain small pieces of plastic, creating a choking hazard...
Greggs produces these sausage rolls exclusively for Iceland, so if you've bought a pack from there, check out the exact recall details below.
Types of Contamination
There are four different types of food contamination:
- Physical Contamination
- Chemical Contamination
- Microbial Contamination
- Allergenic Contamination

Physical Contamination
Physical Contamination means that a physical object has gotten into the food product. This could be anything, but in this case, are small pieces of plastic. These pieces mean that if they are consumed, people (especially small children) could choke to death on them. It also should go without saying that having pieces of plastic in one's digestive system, is not a good idea - the severity of this depends on how large, and how sharp these pieces are.
