These Spring Rolls are being recalled because they contain prawns, which are not declared on the label. So those who are vegetarian find themselves eating non-vegetarian food. What's worse, those with an allergy to crustaceans might find themselves in a life-threatening situation...

Crustaceans

If someone has an allergy to crustaceans like prawns, the safe food they thought they were eating is now potentially deadly. Because these Spring Rolls contain prawns, and a severe allergy to them can mean death to the consuming allergic person.
In a worst case scenario, they could go into anaphylactic shock (also called anaphylaxis) - and if they are not immediately treated, they could die from this.

So it is very important that these Vegetable Spring Rolls Selection by Sainsbury's is taken out of circulation
