Clive’s is recalling both their chilled and frozen Clive’s Bombay Vegetables with Daal Tarts because they contain allergens which are not mentioned on the label.
Two Allergens
The two allergens in question are mustard and sesame. Not only that, but on their website (on the date of this article (16/11/2018)), the product is clearly advertised as 'Sesame Free' and 'Mustard Free' (among other Allergen Free notices - but can one really trust those now?).
By not declaring these, people with an allergy or intolerance to either mustard or sesame could have adverse side affects after eating these Tarts. In the case of an allergy, that adverse reaction could lead to a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis, or anaphylactic shock, which could kill them within minutes...
