Allergen Recall: Whole Earth 3 Nut Butter, Peanut, Pecan & Walnut
Allergen Recall:
Whole Earth 3 Nut Butter, Peanut, Pecan & Walnut

Whole Earth 3 Nut Butter
Whole Earth 3 Nut Butter (now owned by Kallo Foods) is being recalled because the ingredients list is not in English, making the allergen information not accessible for those with food allergies or intolerances.
Peanut Allergies
A person with a severe allergy to peanuts has to avoid every bit of contact with peanuts - even shaking the hand of someone who has just eaten peanuts, or a food containing peanuts, could literally kill them - they could go into anaphylactic shock (also called anaphylaxis) - and if they are not immediately treated, they could die from this.
So it is extremely important that any foods containing peanuts are clearly labeled, so those with a peanut allergy can avoid those. Everyone in their household, and even preferably at work, should also not be consuming peanuts, just in case of cross-contamination - the allergic person's life literally depends on it..!

There is, however, a separate website for the Whole Earth line, though we could not find any information regarding the recall on there. Their Twitter page does not mention the recall, neither does their Facebook page..
